On the 15th of September the Mayor of London visited Tooting Works, a co-working space in Tooting ( South London) . An honorary visit for Business launchpad; an organisation he donated £165.000 of funding to.

Art Alkhemi was founded this year with much assistance from an Organisation Called Business Launchpad which aims to empower young entrepreneurs, through providing vital resources, information and 1-2-1 business advisory. Art Alkhemi founder, Queen of heart was blessed to be accepted into Business Launchpads year long Young and Gifted Program. Through the Art Alkhemi's founder was able to, participate in weekly workshops lead by various established Entrepreneurs, Financial Advisors and network with like minded growth oriented individuals.

During this programme participants were even given the opportunity to pitch their Business to investors with the possibility to receive £ 500 as a start- up fund. Art Alkhemi's founder with no doubt smashed this opportunity and received the fund!

The Young and Gifted programme was also in association with Shapeways.io , a Technology Hub for young and mature people to learn a vast range of digital skills – such as Coding, Graphic Design, Games Design. Obed Yeboah the CEO of Shapeways mainted regular 1-2-1 business advisory sessions with our founder and after noticing her dedication and commitment to the programme specially selected her to participate and showcase Art Alkhemi in this Private event! An amazing opportunity which gathered much media coverage from both BBC and ITV represntatives.

Business Launchpad, Shapeways are two amazing organisations which focus on "Paving the way for a stronger, more empowered generation of young entrepreneurs. It's amazing to know that Business launchpad has received this funding so the team can continue to nurture Young people and their entrepreneurial dreams. With Business Launchpads next year long program, prospectus young entrepreneurs will be given the opportunity to pitch for a cash fund of £5000.
